Product Performance & Testing
Performance characteristics described for PUR products are based on material properties, construction methods, and intended use cases. Individual results and experiences may vary based on body type, activity level, washing practices, and other factors.
PUR leggings are designed and optimized for low-to-moderate impact activities including yoga, Pilates, strength training, barre, and daily wear. We do not claim performance superiority over all synthetic activewear for all use cases, particularly high-intensity cardiovascular exercise or marathon running.
Laboratory Testing: PUR products are tested by accredited third-party laboratories (SGS, Intertek) for the presence of endocrine-disrupting chemicals including BPA, PFAS, and phthalates. When we state "non-detect" or "chemical-free," this means levels are below the laboratory's detection threshold using standard testing protocols (typically <10 ppm for BPA, <1 ppb for PFAS).
"Non-detect" does not mean absolute zero, as trace amounts below detection limits may exist. Testing protocols, detection limits, and lab reports are available upon request for verification.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification is independently verified by authorized OEKO-TEX institutes. PUR does not control or guarantee certification status of supplier materials but requires certification as a condition of procurement.
